2015 Art Fair
The 2015 St. Clair Art Fair was the 44th annual!! Over 120 artists participated.
Where – Downtown St. Clair, Michigan, in Palmer Park along the St. Clair River and in the Riverview Plaza. From I-94, take exit 257 (Fred Moore Highway) east 8 miles; on GPS use “Riverside Ave and Jay St, Saint Clair” for cross streets.
Artist Information – Artist booths were located in Palmer Park along the Boardwalk on the St. Clair River & next to the sidewalk along Riverside Avenue and in Riverview Plaza under cover in the corridors. We also had artist booths located in the newly renovated Center Courtyard of the Riverview Plaza (to be known as Plaza Park). Featured Artist Information – Our featured artists this year were Ed & Carol Zack from Elgin, Illinois. Ed & Carol’s paintings were on display in the Art Center gallery from June 18 through the end of the Art Fair. The opening reception was on Thursday evening, June 18 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Art Center. We hope you were able to join us in welcoming Ed & Carol! Performing Artist Information – A variety of music were heard during both days of the Art Fair. The 2015 Performing Artists page lists musicians that appeared on the new Plaza Park stage, as well as groups that were strolling the grounds of the Art Fair.
Art Fair Raffle – This year the Art Fair raffle was a 50/50 raffle with a minimum prize of $1000. The winning ticket was drawn on Sunday afternoon with the winner receiving $1614!! Our 2015 raffle was licensed by the State of Michigan Bureau of State Lottery – Charitable Gaming Division, license number R29997.
An exciting change was at the 2015 Art Fair. The Community Foundation of St. Clair County generously funded the renovation of the Center Courtyard in the Riverview Plaza. Work started in September, 2014 and continued until the snow arrived, with completion in Spring, 2015. Check out the photos below for progress on the Courtyard renovation.
