Congratulations to Skip White of Navarre, Florida for the Best of Show award at the 2016 St. Clair Art Fair. Skip’s medium is Jewelry. The Winnie Compton Fangman Award for Most Creative was presented to Miles Stearn of Berkley, Michigan. Miles’ medium is Pottery. Photos coming Sunday.

The 2016 St. Clair Art Fair is almost here!! This years Art Fair will three days – Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 24, 25 & 26. Check out the 2016 Art Fair page for information about the schedule and the visual & performing artists scheduled to participate along with the many other activities during Art Fair weekend!! This year our featured artist is Julienne Jaworski from Port Sanilac!!

The Awards Ceremony will be Tuesday, May 3, at 5 – 7 PM in the Art Center. Everyone is welcome – please attend and support our local student artists. The exhibit will be on display through May 14th.
The Art Center will be closed until January 19, 2016. A new wood floor is scheduled to be installed in the gallery the week of January 4th and the annual gallery inventory process will occur the following week, January 11, 2016. The gallery (with the new wood floor!!) reopens for business on January 19, 2016. Stop by to see how it looks!
The last week of classes for Session 3 will be the week of January 4th. The studio will be open while the new floor is installed in the Gallery; please use the Riverside entrance. Session 4 starts the week of January 19th. The class flyer with class descriptions, schedules and cost can be opened at this link, or pick one up at the mall entrance to the Art Center. Note that as of 1/4/16 the Clay Throwing classes (Codes A-1 and A-8) are full; no more students can be registered for these two classes in Session 4.
Join us for the opening reception for the annual Yuletyme Fair at the Alice W. Moore Center for the Arts! On Tuesday, November 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm enjoy an evening with friends & neighbors and start your holiday shopping. The gallery will feature artwork and hand-made holiday themed items by local artists. The Yuletyme Fair will continue through December 23rd on Tuesdays – Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays in December, Noon to 4 pm.
