St. Clair is for Lovers
There will be a reception at the Art Center on Sunday, May 20, from 2 to 4 pm featuring Colette Marshall and her art. Colette’s paintings are featured in the Exhibit Gallery at the Art Center until June 9. Colette was the winner of the 2010 Seasons in St. Clair competition. The featured season for that year’s competition was Fall and Colette’s winning painting is titled St. Clair is for Lovers. Next Session of Classes Starts May 14
The next session of art classes at the Art Center start next week, May 14. It is a five week session that runs through June 16 and will be the last session before summer break. Click here to open the registration form in a separate window/tab. You can register at the Art Center or by phone (810-329-9576). Last Week to See the High School Exhibit!!
The High School Exhibit will run through Saturday, May 12. Be sure to get down to the Art Center to view the wonderful art work from our local high school students. Click here to read more and view images of some of the displayed work.
A Concert Celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber
The St. Clair Theatre Guild will present the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber this Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30, May 11 & 12 at the East China Performing Arts Center. Solos, duets and choral presentations will include memorable selections from….Cats…. Jesus Christ Superstar…. Evita…. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat & The Phantom of the Opera.
Tickets are available at the Alice W. Moore Center for the Arts, Sue’s Coffee Shop and the St. Clair Pharmacy in St. Clair; The Sweet Tooth & Riviera Restaurant in Marine City.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for seniors & students.
Street Banner Contest Painting Starts!!

The entries are in and banner painting will start next week and last through April 27. Selected
banner painters are scheduling time between those dates and will be in the Art Center Studio creating their banners. Everyone is invited to the Art Center to watch a blank banner transform into a work of art!!! Click here to read more information about the Street Banner Contest!
One Week Left for Middle School Exhibit

Stop by the Art Center before the end of the Middle School Exhibition to view the wonderful art work from students of our local middle schools.
