The 46th Annual St Clair Art Fair will be Saturday & Sunday, June 24 & 25. Over 100 artists will have their work on display and for sale in the Riverview Plaza corridors and throughout Palmer Park. There will be activities for the entire family, musical entertainment and a food court in the park. The public art of Saint Clair will also be on display. Congratulations to the new President and Vice-President of the Art Association for 2017 – Jason Stier and Steve Path. Marilyn Biernot-Hess is our new Treasurer and Twila Wayt our new Secretary. In addition to Steve and Twila as new Board members, we welcome Sandy Attebury back to the Board after a year off. The remaining members of the Board are Lori Hannon, Wendy Harder, Elizabeth Harvey, Judy Heintz, Helen McCartan, Vicky Path, Marie Rediess and Greg Towne.

The Yuletyme Fair is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience when the Art Center gallery transforms from a fine art exhibition space to a fun, energetic gift market featuring artwork and hand-made items by local artists offering a wide range of mediums. The week of October 24th will be busy at the Art Center. The second session of classes starts (Clay Throwing starts the following week); check out the class flyer on the Classes page for details. On Tuesday the annual St. Clair Art Association Membership meeting will be held at the Art Center starting at 7 pm. In addition to a special guest speaker and refreshments, members will elect the 2017 Board of Directors. On Wednesday a planning meeting for the 2017 St Clair Art Fair will occur – stop by at 4 pm if you’d like to be part of this annual event.
The schedule and registration flyer for classes scheduled for the first session of the upcoming “school year” is available for viewing from the Classes page. This session features a new Visual Communications class on Thursday afternoons. The class is designed to challenge and stimulate creative thinking for high school students and other adults.
Please note that Mrs. Szymanski’s evening classes are cancelled for Session 1 due to a time scheduling conflict. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The exhibit gallery currently has the Pointe Studio Ten: Recent Works exhibit on display. Paintings from ten artists from the Grosse Pointe vicinity will be on display through August 27th.
